The Congress proceedings were accompanied by presentations of Warsaw collections related to the Congress’s theme. Displays of Turkish and Tatar diplomatic documents were arranged at the Central Archives of Historical Records, which holds extraordinary treasures – alliance treaties with Turkey and diplomatic letters of the Ottoman sultans and the Tatar khans of the Golden Horde and Crimea, including the famous Yarliq of Tokhtamish (1393). Many of the Ottoman documents are recorded at the UNESCO World Memory Program.

The selection and presentation was prepared by Dr. Natalia Królikowska in collaboration with the Central Archives of Historical Records in Warsaw (AGAD).
